The next several drawings are experiments in what it might be like to be less in control. This drawing started as a very recognizable set of images. As sometimes happens, I became bored with the initial concept but being loath to waste a single sheet of paper, I decided to see what would happen if I just started drawing. So, with a focus primarily on creating interesting lines and value contrasts…I came up with this. Still a bit recognizable, but very much more abstract than most of what I have done thus far.
I like your idea here. I think the unrecognizable can make things ultimately more intriguing.
